PROJECT WET GOALSThe goal of Project WET is to facilitate and promote:

MISSION STATEMENTProject WET believes that informed people are more likely to participate in the decision making process and to make a difference through their actions. Project WET invites educators, resource managers, community leaders and concerned citizens to join Project WET in educating young people about one of the most precious resources on the planet - water. WET SPONSORSProject WET (Water Education for Teachers) is a project of the Water Education Foundation, an impartial, non-profit organization whose mission is to develop and implement education programs leading to a broader understanding of water issues and to resolution of water problems. California Project WET is also sponsored by the Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region and the U.S. Geological Survey, California Water Program. PROJECT WET GUIDEThe Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide was designed:
INSTRUCTIONAL APPROACHProject WET activities are designed to satisfy the goals of educational programs by complementing existing curricula rather than displacing or adding more concepts. Project WET activities provide many opportunities to address curriculum objectives and educational standards.
